BRIEF
This Vienna apartment was envisioned as a pied-à-terre — a temporary retreat between trips, a place to reset within the pace of the city. The layout is thoughtfully split into social and private areas, allowing work-related stays, evenings with friends, and moments of quiet to exist in balance. The living room takes shape as an intimate salon-gallery, where a globally collected selection of art gives the interior its identity
A vintage Chinese folding screen serves as the visual focal point of the room, entering into a dialogue with the metal shelving and the fireplace. Sculptural cream sofas, combined with burgundy velvet armchairs, form a layered and tactile composition that invites lingering and conversation.
